ather ye round, good folk, and lend me thine ear, For a tale of great courage shall soon appear. In a realm where the odds were as bleak as the night, A horse named Fom Tooley prepared for his flight.
With a heart full of hope and a spirit so grand, He hailed from a stable of misfortune’s hand. The crowd would deride him with jeers loud and clear, Yet Fom pressed on, fueled by faith without fear.
Through trials and tribulations, he never lost sight, Of dreams that would carry him into the light. For deep in his soul burned a fire divine, A promise from God that his stars would align.
Then came the day when fortune did smile, As Fom raced forth with unyielding style. With hooves like the wind and a will to prevail, He shattered the records, his triumph unveiled!
From rags to riches, the poor now did cheer, While the wealthy looked on with disdain and with sneer. For this humble steed had defied every fate, And now to the Derby, he’d gallop through gates!
